tinyPOPS from Synthetic Sound Labs is an ultra small lo-fi desktop drum machine, offering a variety of crunchy digital samples and preprogrammed patterns. Inspired in part by the Korg Mini Pops rhythm machines, the workflow of tinyPOPS is similar to early rhythm accompaniment boxes that presaged the modern drum machine, yet with a decidedly digital character. Drum up bass drum, guiro, bongo, clave, cowbell, maracas, cymbal, and quijada sounds with one of the 16 rhythm patterns, featuring a wide variety of classic genre-specific beats.

Using the mute switches for each drum voice, you can select which voices play through the rhythms to customize your percussion. In addition to its audio output, tinyPOPS sends out both a clock signal and a downbeat clock, making it easy to integrate with other CV sequencers.
