Lost Tapes from Swell Noise is a multi-mode lo-fi delay pedal that captures the feeling of degrading tapes and fleeting memories. Small imperfections in physical media create the textures of yesteryear and inform the sound of Lost Tapes. The three main controls set the wet/dry blend, the delay time, and the amount of feedback. Lost Tapes self-oscillates at high feedback settings, creating a steadily building wall of sound. Rewind mode adds the sound of a rewinding tape, while the two flutter modes add varying amounts of random wow-and-flutter variations to the delay time. Far from the perfect replication of sample accurate digital delay, Lost Tapes from Swell Noise is an intentionally lo-fi delay pedal that adds warmth and movement to your sounds.
