Inspired by fuzzes old and new, the Surfy Industires SurfyFuzz was born out of collaboration with Garrett Immel, designer of the highly sought-after D-67 pedal. Not simply a clone or reissue, Immel worked with the Surfy Industries deisgn team to breath new life into the circuit that would eventually become SurfyFuzz. Beyond typical controls such as Volume (level), Intensity (gain), and Harmonics (tone), SurfyFuzz has two unique parameters to offer: Mass. Going from sharper fuzz tones reminiscent of the 1960s to rounder, fuller sounds, Mass can be thought of as a sort of character control. But that's not all—with the Mode switch, you can toggle between USA and Japan-style fuzz tones as you please. With the SurfyFuzz, it's always high tide for some ripping fuzz tones.
