Soundmachines' T-Format is an interactive vowel-based filter that offers flange, formant and distortion effects, along with a touchstrip for parameter manipulation and recording. This versatile effect module can double as a voice when the input is left unpatched and CV is fed to the V/Oct input. Modulation is of no concern when using this module—though there are plenty of CV inputs for all of the knobs, you can save your precious modulation sources and play in your own modulation patch with the touchstrip. The touchstrip modulation offers four tracks of automation, indicated by the 4-way switch, for Formant, Q, Flange, and Distortion. Each track can hold 20s of getsural data and can function in Latched, Touch, Free-Loop, or One-Shot mode. Truly a delight to play, the T-Formant from Soundmachines is versatile, organic, and effortlessly playable.
