Fuck Overdrive, the latest offering from Smallsound/Bigsound, is as unique as it is abrasive. It takes its inspiration from William Basinski's The Disintegration Loops, the pedal aims to emulate some of the beautiful, fundamentally broken sounds perpetrated therein. Sonically, it emits tones similar to warped tape, a damaged compressor, ruined speakers, and broken tubes. There's also an envelope-controlled Crackle function that can be engaged/disengaged at will in order to dynamically manipulate the signal in useful and interesting ways. Trust us, this thing will completely redefine preconceived notions of what an overdrive pedal should be.
