JHS presents the newly reissued ROSS Distortion pedal, a 1970s-style hard-clipping circuit filled with tube-like characteristics. The 70s introduced countless classic hard-clipping distortions, including the ProCo Rat, MXR's Distortion Plus, and the ubiquitous BOSS DS-1. Of course, the ROSS Distortion falls into this category too, lending some characterful crunch to any guitar rig. The Level and Distortion controls are easily understood, but the side-mounted mode switch toggles between Germanium and Silicon voicings are derived from two different eras of the classic ROSS Distortion. Introduce some thick drive to your rig with the ROSS Distortion.
