Initially created for Propellerhead’s Reason RE, Vecto from Rob Papen is a synthesizer powerhouse with some seriously powerful features. At its core, Vecto is a four-oscillator vector synth where users can draw vector paths to alter the sound in a variety of ways. It provides access to a delightful range of oscillator waveforms, sampled waveforms, and modulation options. Waveforms include classic analog modeled, Spectrum, additive, and sampled waveforms—more than enough for endless creative potential! On top of all that, Vecto sports two filters with a total of twenty-eight different filter types, as well as two powerful effects processors. Combine this with the wealth of modulation options and it’s easy to see why Vector is a no-brainer when it comes to powerful sound design at an economic pricepoint.
