The Go2 from Rob Papen is a subtractive-style virtual synthesizer designed to provide immediate, hands-on control over a deep and intuitive feature-set. With a morphing oscillator controllable using an X-Y axis, multimode filter, amplitude and filter envelopes, arpeggiator, and great-sounding effects, the Go2 is a great learning tool. This is a Rob Papen instrument, however, and with hundreds of presets and total control over all parameters, the Go2 can generate truckloads of fresh and innovative sounds to rival much more expensive software.
