Rides in the Storm BOC
For brilliant highs and loads of heavy low end, the BOC from Rides in the Storm has got you covered with its discrete VCO design and quadruple sub-oscillator support. BOC's core centers around a highly flexible oscillator sporting four different wave-shapes with independent outputs. Tuning is no issue with both coarse and fine controls at the ready as well as a VCO/LFO button to change the frequency range. BOC's ability to conform and shape to other oscillators is quite stellar with not only linear and exponential FM inputs, but also a CV controllable soft-sync with reset for harder sync sounds.
Tied to such a pliable oscillator is BOC's three different sub-oscillators, each of which offering a different selection of wave-shape outputs as well as different degrees of sub-oscillation. On top of this wide variety of timbres, BOC also features not only PWM on the core oscillator but also variable pulse with CV inputs on the first two sub-oscillators for creamy and stacked PWM. With loads of opportunity for integrating with other oscillators, modulation, or even self-patching, the BOC is a solid foundation and supporting oscillator for sculpting big and bass-filled sounds.
