Presonus Quantum HD2

Though it might be small in size, the Presonus Quantum HD 2 just might be one of the most potent compact USB audio interfaces around. Featuring 32-bit converters, an impressive 124dB of dynamic range is available to capture audio with incredible fidelity. Pair this with new Presonus MAX-HD preamps that can offer +75dB of gain, you'll be able to record crisp and clean audio with anything. And to make it all easier, a handy Auto Gain function is available that can automatically set your microphone levels for you.

For the instrumentalists out there, Presonus co-developed all-new instrument inputs with engineers from Fender, ensuring that they'll sound spectacular with your guitar or bass. A nice addition to the HD 2 is a pair of re-amp outputs, allowing you to pipe DI guitars (or any other signal) into the front of your favorite amps or effects pedals. This gives you the flexibility to tweak settings, explore creative routings, and simply have fun with hardware. Speaking of hardware, the Quantum HD 2 features abundant expandability via ADAT optical: up to 16 channels at 48kHz, with higher sampling rates possible by splitting channels across two ports.

The Quantum HD 2 is ready to step into any recording situation. Of course, you can control its preamp settings from the front panel interface, but the Presonus Universal Control App and integration with their Studio One DAW make remote control possible right from your session workflow. Speaking of Studio One, you'll also get 12 months of Studio One+ and a permanent Studio One Professional license. If you need a compact and handy interface with premium recording quality, the Presonus Quantum HD 2 won't disappoint.
