On its face, the Baxandall EQ is a simple shelving EQ, but it features a gently rising and falling curve to create a more natural sound with less phase distortion. Use the Hi and Lo controls to perfectly dial in your track or make sweeping changes to a sub-mix or mix—no matter how you use this, a natural, gently hugged sound is sure to ensue. Not only does the soft sloping of the EQ affect the sound, but the inclusion of an API-style GAR2520 op-amp in the input gives your signal a vintage feel.
