Pittsburgh Lifeforms Foundation 4
The Lifeforms Foundation 4, from Pittsburgh Modular, is a complete Eurorack modular synthesizer that pays homage to both the west coast and east coast styles of synthesis. With a powerful pair of oscillators, three resonant filters, and two ADSRs, one can create bubbling sequences and rich leads while also catering towards experimentation and abstract sound design. With the MIDI input, diatonic control is only a keyboard a way, with the capabilities of Mono- and Duo-phonic voicing. Also included in the dual oscillator is non-linear waveshaping and FM for those wacky timbres and modulation. With a handful of utilities to top it off, and 104HP of expandable space, the Foundation 4 is a great full system for anyone interested in modular synthesis.
