Perfect Circuit’s Glitch Series Core modular synthesizer system is a small system with the potential to make some insane noise. Housed in the discreet Erica Synths Pico Case, this little system is a powerful set of tools for exploiting the weirdness of digital synthesis.

The center of this system is the Make Noise Mysteron, a duophonic waveguide-based synth voice capable of everything from clean plucked and bowed string sounds to absolute digital glitch mayhem, mutating from clean pings to abrasive noise. Combine it with Noise Engineering’s powerful, multi-algorithm Sinc Iter oscillator and you have a huge range of sonic options. A Make Noise LxD offers old-school analog lowpass gates to tame the abrasiveness when needed, and an Erica Pico Out allows connection to headphones, studio gear, live PA, and more.

Of course, even a small system can have a robust CV infrastructure as well. The WMD / SSF ModBox is a dual LFO and sample & hold perfect for providing continuous and stepped modulation to wide stretches of your patch. A 2hp Seq provides a source for tonal sequencing, while the 2hp ENV and ALM Busy Circuits Pip Slope offer further options for modulation and articulation within your sounds.

PCA’s Glitch Series Core is a succinct system for making intense, abrasive sounds and clean digital chimes.
