Perfect Circuit East Coast Deluxe System

Perfect Circuit's East Coast Deluxe system is an incredibly flexible synthesizer in 6U, offering a complete modular system for musicians inspired by the sounds of classic analog synthesis. A powerful set of tools for polyphonic analog synthesis, the East Coast Deluxe system can produce dense polyphony, soaring leads, peaceful ambiences, gargantuan drones, and more. A feature-dense and tone-centered setup, the East Coast Deluxe system is one of the best subtractive setups we could imagine in a TipTop Mantis case.

The East Coast Deluxe system offers all of the building blocks of a classic analog synth, with extra facilities for producing layered sounds and polyphonic textures. With three analog oscillators, two analog filters, and four VCAs, you have more than enough to create dense, nuanced keyboard sounds and textures. Two WMD / SSF Spectrum VCOs, one Intellijel Dixie II+, Mutable Instruments Ripples, and AJH Transistor Ladder VCF form the system’s core. The oscillators offer suboctaves, flexible FM, Sync, and Pulse Width Modulation for sculpting complex and classic tones. The Intellijel Quad VCA is capable of classic AM and signal boosting and mixing as well as traditional clean VCA duties. The XAOC Devices Praga rounds out the typical end of the signal chain: a four channel stereo mixer with voltage control of level and panning. The Alright Chronoblob delay and Erica Pico DSP offer a wide array of classic DSP effects for adding a lush, fuzzy bed to the rest of your sound.

Perfect Circuit takes CV generation seriously. The WMD / SSF ModBox is a dual LFO and sample & hold, excellent for providing a control source for vibrato, FM, AM, PWM, filter FM, and more. Two Make Noise Contours, a Pittsburgh ADSR, and ALM Pip Slope create envelopes appropriate for use with keyboards and sequencers. Of course, all of the oscillators also work down into LFO range, so the modulation capabilities are...well, let's just say "intense." And of course, we have also included a Mutable Instruments Shades and Links for additional scaling and distribution of audio and CV.

Of course, it is important for an "East Coast" instrument to be capable of tonal material. The Malekko Sync + CV/Gate Expander provides extremely flexible MIDI-CV conversion. The 4ms Quad Clock Distributor can keep everything in sync to a master clock. The Qu-Bit Octone and Intellijel Metropolis both offer intuitive and flexible melodic sequencing, and the Intellijel uScale creates quantized voltages out of any CV, creating generative arpeggios, random melodies, repeating melodic patterns more. This system is a sequencing dream.

The East Coast Deluxe Eurorack modular system is a selection of the finest tools we could fit into 208hp for the creation of classic analog synth sounds. It does drones, arpeggios, searing leads, and thick basslines...but it will go as far as one’s imagination can take it.
