Perfect Circuit's East Coast Core Eurorack modular system is a tiny synth with a huge sound. Built with classic synth sounds in mind, this is a perfect system for anyone looking for a smart, small set of modules for making killer bass sequences, searing leads, and much more.

Built in the discreet Erica Synths Pico Case, the East Coast Core is a full synth voice with ample modulation, based around a typical East Coast workflow: stable oscillator, colorful filter, clean amplifier. The Intellijel Dixie II+ oscillator offers stable tuning over large stretches and offers a variety of simultaneous outputs, including sine, triangle, saw, pulse, sharktooth, and suboctave. Combining these waveforms with the 2hp Mix can lead to monstrously thick sounds without the need for additional "stacked" oscillators. The Mutable Instruments Ripples is a huge-sounding state-variable filter capable of thumpy bass and fizzy bandpass. With multiple lowpass slopes and built-in VCA, this filter packs a ton of functionality and a ton of tone into a small space. The 2hp ADSR and Erica Pico VCA are the core of the system's articulation, enabling quick percussive sounds, sustained keyboard-style tones, or driving sequenced tones with quick decay.

The East Coast Core is not just a pretty voice: it is a modulation monster. The Qu-Bit Octone is an intuitive sequencer capable of producing a huge range of melodic patterns and timbre animations. The WMD / SSF ModBox is a remarkably powerful modulation source, offering two variable-shape LFOs, noise source, and sample and hold all in only 6hp. This can be applied anywhere in the system: Dixie PWM and FM, Ripples FM and resonance modulation, Pico VCA Amplitude Modulation, and more.

The East Coast Core system is more than enough to get started sequencing, modulating, and droning with some of the best sound quality in Eurorack. It is the perfect choice for newcomers and veteran modular users alike, and is ready to add some juicy filter sweeps to any studio or stage setup.
