Kick! Bass Drum Voice

Optotronics Modular Kick!

The Kick! from Heretic Machines is a versatile kick drum module that excels at crating deep bass drum and synth sounds. With a built-in VCF, VCA, and Buchla-style wavefolder, the Kick! is a self-contained module that can be tweaked to suit any need you may have. Adjust the Attack and Release sliders to get snappy percussive tones or make them a touch longer for rounder sounds. The VCF is resonant and can add additional tones to your percussive sound; the Wavefolder is aggressive and full of character. Each section has a dedicated EG attenuator that lets you dial in how much of the on-board envelope gets sent to it and an external CV Modulation jack, so you can go as wild as you'd like. More than just average kick drum module, Kick! from Heretic Machines is an instrument unto itself.
