Novation's Launchkey Mini 37 MK4 is the latest iteration of their three-octave portable MIDI keyboard controller, featuring updated looks and deeper DAW integration. Thanks to its crisp OLED display, the Mini 37 offers immediate access to musical functions, including an expanded arpeggiator mode. There's also several modes of re-mapping the keyboard, all of which can be done on the hardware itself. The Scale Mode allows you to remap the keys to one of 30 different scales, eliminating potential for wrong notes. The Fixed Chord mode allows you to trigger full chords from a single key, while the Chord Map mode allows you to design emotive progressions from Launchkey’s pads.

Easily use the pads for percussion or triggering clips and assign the knobs to any hardware MIDI CC or software element. Expanded DAW integration capabilities give you plug-and-play support for all major DAW applications, including a new step sequencer for Ableton Live. Select Novation MIDI controllers now include a license for GForce Bass Station, a software recreation of the classic Bass Station synthesizer. Available as a standalone application on Mac and PC as well as AU, AAX, VST, and VST3 plugins, this supercharged softsynth offers 16 voices of polyphony, abundant presets, sophisticated arpeggiator + effects, and more. Powered using the USB-C port and with a MIDI TRS output jack, the Novation Launchkey Mini 37 is a great option for expanded range in a portable controller.
