Fala Versio from Noise Engineering is a stereo formant filter with wavefolding and saturation, cultivating vocaloid squelches, stereophonic spectra surgeries, and wildly wobbling waves from any sound source. Going beyond the typical applications of formant filters which seek to create classic vowel shapes, Fala Versio uses its cornucopia of filters and waveshapers to summon vast and varied vocalizations that retain a musical tone. Twenty-four bandpass filters and saturators, three all pass filters, a wavefolder, and output dynamics controllers work together to provide a deep platform for sculpting tones with an organic and alien character.

With its onboard LFO, Fala Versio is perfect for creating dynamic movement in your sound processing, shifting around your array of filters with speed and index amount controls. Get your tones wobbling in time with the tap tempo button and CV input. The LFO uses either sine or noise waveshapes, giving you multiple angles of attack for creating modular mayhem. Thanks to its pre-filter wavefolder and post-filter saturator, Fala Versio can quickly take your tones to outer space and back again, offering all manner of spectra sculpting delights. Of course, as part of the Noise Engineering Versio Platform, you can easily swap Fala Versio's firmware to explore a number of other captivating effects.
