Neumann V 402 Dual Channel Microphone Preamp

Providing incredible transparency and preservation of sound quality from any source, the V 402 by Neumann is a stand-alone microphone preamp designed to preserve the natural character of your microphones and instruments. The design of the V 402 contains no transformers, and utilizes a clean gain structure for maintaining the subtle nuances of any microphone at any gain setting. Instrumentalists need not feel left out, for Neumann has also included two similarly designed DI inputs with exceptional attention to high detail and low noise, meaning your treasured guitar, bass, or synthesizer will have never sounded better with unparalleled clarity. A switchable high-pass filter is included as well, for tightening low end and removing rumbles when it isn't wanted, and as with the other circuits inside the V 402, the headphone output provides incredibly clean, no latency monitoring of signal processing.

There are many situations where preamp color or distortion is desirable, but in other situations where the specific choice and character of a valued microphone matters most, turn to the Neumann V 402 to accurately capture the perfect take.
