NANO Modules FUM

FUM from NANO Modules is six parameter multi-FX modules that eschews menuing for emphasis on immediate control over parameters. All six complimentary effects work in tandem, creating a holistic FX processor with a unique sound. Bipolar sliders give you two options for each of their parameters, depending if you move them up or down from the center position. The clock syncable delay features ten overlapping delay zones, further fine tuned by the time fader. These selectable ranges cover any style of delay you might need, from up to 10 seconds of sustaining repeats to metallic comb filter-like clangs. The feedback loop provides either clean repeats of the input material or distorted feedback processing that give the sound of degrading tape. Use the pitch slider to move your sound either up or down an octave that enters a self enforcing feedback loop as you push the slider away from center, creating surreal sonic transformations blended with the delay.

Reverb comes in two forms, lush, spacious hall reverb and rhythmic gated reverb. Add extra stereo motion to the FX path with either the flanger or the chorus, each with their own distinctive sound. FUM's modulation comes in two forms, a smoothly varying triangle LFO or sudden random movement from the sample and hold. Start and stop the audio passing into the buffer using the freeze button, an infinite sustain that loops the sound until you press the button a second time and release it. Texture overlays an extra layer of character to your sound, a bright hissing white noise or a granular particle noise with extra low end. Emphasize the high frequency or low frequency content of your sounds using the DJ-style tilt filter. NANO Module's FUM unites six capable FX engines to create a multi-fx powerhouse.
