The RANDOM8 is a collaboration between Befaco and Mylar Melodies, birthing unto the world one of the most versatile and fun random modules to date. Eight independent random voltage generators, each with their own loop controls, let you capture a phrase with a single button press. Lock it in, let it evolve slowly, or return to full chaos with a double tap. All of the parameters and settings are just a tap away, keeping you in the moment with hands-on control. Each channel can be quantized to one of 16 scales, turning any or all of them into melodic generators, while per-channel slide, probability, clock division, and offset controls give you an exceptional level of control. The menu system itself is designed to be transparent and requires no button combos: hold a button, turn a dial, done.
