Using two radio antennas and classic heterodyning oscillator scheme, the theremin's pitch and volume are controlled via the left and right hands' proximity to the instrument: the loop antenna controls volume while the upright antenna controls pitch. This instrument features removable antennae and integrated mic stand mount, making it easy to transport and set up for performance.
