Moog Etherwave Standard Theremin (Ash)
From 1920 to the present day, the theremin has proven to be one of the most expressive electronic instrument around: find out why with Moog's Etherwave Standard model, a classic analog instrument in modern form. Using two radio antennas and classic heterodyning oscillator scheme, the theremin's pitch and volume are controlled via the left and right hands' proximity to the instrument: the loop antenna controls volume while the upright antenna controls pitch. This instrument features removable antennae and integrated mic stand mount, making it easy to transport and set up for performance. Capable of sci-fi sound effects, lyrical Clara Rockmore melodies, and Lydia Kavina-style virtuosic performance, the theremin is a profoundly broad and flexible instrument with satisfying user interaction and simply otherworldly sound.
