The Poet Selecter from Moddict is a hybrid digital/analog effects processor that offers up stereo processing, filters, and other effects. Based on the Akai S612, the dedicated low pass filter with a fixed resonance sits neatly in the lower left, ready to impart its signature sound onto any audio signal. Complemented by a digital multimode filter that offers up a high pass, band pass, or all pass (phaser) option, you have a wide array of tools to sculpt your sound. Spatialize your audio as well with a Stereo Imager and Pan control; add a touch of grit with the lofi processor that gives you sample rate and bit reduction. A Z Mode expands the effect palette offering up 4 additional effects, controlled by the Pan CV Attenuator: Freeze, Tapestop, Reverse, and Scratch. When you dial in your perfect sound, go ahead and save it with the confidence that you can recall it at a moment's notice thanks to the dedicated Preset Selector knob.
