MachineRoom Filth
Filth from Machine Room is a brutal take on the classic Minimoog 204D transistor ladder filter. Though its name pays tribute to the delectably dirty distortion this filter is capable of applying, Filth is surprisingly flexible. Sweeping through the Overload control takes Filth from sweet and pure vanilla filtering to squelchy and bestial spectra-annihilation. Low-pass and Hi-pass modes are available as well as 12db / 24db slope options. In 24db mode, the filter self-oscillates at high emphasis settings, giving you a sine wave that tracks up to 5 octaves. An onboard VCA is included with two inputs for parallel modulations. Three audio inputs make Filth a great way to get paraphonic patching going in your rack with multiple oscillators and an ADSR. If you're looking for a flexible filter with some nasty tricks up its sleeves, Filth is ready to deliver the dirt.
