The Plinky Expander from Making Sound Machines offers additional functionality when using the Plinky Polyphonic Synth within a Eurorack case, expanding its already vast capabilities. Beyond its versatile and characterful sound generation, its assignable modulation controls take Plinky well into the modern era, offering both flexible onboard modulation for the synth itself, as well as four CV inputs for interfacing with modular systems.

The Plinky Expander gives you ready access to CV outputs for these four modulation sources, A, B, X, and Y, turning Plinky into a powerful controller for your system, or allowing you to create related modulations between Plinky and other voices in your rack. Also onboard the expander are 3.5mm TRS MIDI ports and a USB-C connection, allowing you to access these crucial jacks while Plinky is installed in your case.
