Chandler Limited's TG2-500 brings what is possibly the most legendary preamp circuit to your 500 Series rack: the EMI TG12428 from Abbey Road Studios. Yes, that Abbey Road. The TG2-500 distills much of the same circuitry of Chandler's other TG series products into a compact, portable preamp circuit—including the discrete components and transformer-balanced I/O.

Uniquely, the TG2-500 offers two gain controls: Coarse gain in steps of 5dB, and Fine gain continuously variable from +/-10dB. Of course, Output gain can be set as needed, along with +48V phantom power and phase inversion. There's also switchable Impedance, which can help tune the circuit to different microphones.
