After Later Audio Knit

Impressively compact, After Later Audio's Knit is a version of Plaits by Mutable Instruments occupying a mere 6hp of space. Considered a sort of macro oscillator, Knit offers a total of 16 different synthesis algorithms, split into two banks of eight models respectively focused on pitched timbres and noisy or percussive textures. Aside from Frequency, which is used to tune the module, all of Knit's controls vary per model, but generally speaking Timbre modifies spectral content, Morph imparts timbral change, and Harmonics applies frequency spread and balance of sonic elements. Knit also provides a mulitpurpose Trigger input, which both excites percussive models and activates the internal lowpass gate, which may be further controlled by the Level input. For maximum variety in the midst of your patches, apply a signal to the Model input and scan through all 16 models at will. Plaits is a one of a kind module, and After Later Audio's Knit brings that same desirable functionality in a smaller package than ever before.
