LZX Industries PGO

The PGO or Programmable Gain and Offset from LZX Industries is an ultra-compact utility module offering a variety of simple functions for video synthesis, including amplification, attenuation, inversion, and more. At the top of the module, a +1V reference is provided, which is useful for adjusting the voltage math that awaits you below. On the left side, four cascaded positive inputs and four negative inputs are fed into a difference amplifier, giving you a patch programmable analog computer for shifting and sculpting video signals. For example, creating simple amplification is easy with PGO. Input a signal into the top positive jack, and it will be automatically connected to all other positive inputs as shown on the panel graphic. Since each input is added then divided in half, 1V sent to each input will result in 2V at the output.

Get more complicated results by patching into one side and out another for inverted processing, or use the 1V reference output for precise scaling of RGB signals. Calculate averages, mix, and convert signals from single ended to differential and back with ease.
