Doorway Linear Key Generator

LZX Industries Doorway

The LZX Doorway is a compositor and linear key generator module that utilizes a comparator circuit with a binary state (on/off) output. The module uses high gain amplification and the clipping of the input signal for key generation. This means that the ensuing key will contain a fluctuating portion of the input signal. 

Doorway Features

• Voltage controlled threshold across the full input range
• Voltage controlled gain amplifies input signal up to a gain of X64
• Allows for continuous sweep from fully soft to fully hard edge
• Foreground and background level controls and signal inputs
• Outline mode switches a full wave rectifier into the signal path
• AC/DC input coupling switches and inverting level attenuators on voltage control inputs
