Geophones are a low frequency seismic sensor that can be used to capture extremely low frequencies and interesting timbres when attached to or probed into objects. This L version of the Exploding Shed Geophone can capture frequencies as low as 15Hz all the way up to 1000 with a sensitivity of 74.8V/m/s. Use it by itself or in conjunction with a standard mic for expanded frequency range: the Geophone-L is exceptional for sound design, foley, and experimental music applications.

Geophone L includes a protective case, magnet, suction cup, clamp, and spike probe.
