The Kush Audio Omega 500 Series Pre-amp proves that simplicity and power can indeed reside in the same compact module. As any current user will attest, the module holds immaculate fidelity for a characteristically clean and open sound that allows the character of whatever mic is used to shine. 

Despite its power, the module’s front panel is ridiculously minimal: there’s a single knob, peak meter, and buttons for Phantom Power, Invert, and a 20dB pad. Though the module sounds excellent on its own, using it alongside Kush Audio’s Transformer plugins elevates the resulting sound quality to that of a Rupert Neve or API preamp.
