Keeley Katana

The Katana, from Keeley Electronics, is a razor-sharp boost pedal that’s as clean as it is cutting. In addition to providing an identical-but-amplified replication of the input signal, the Katana also provides a thick, harmonic laden boost. This latter feature can be initiated by pulling out on the volume knob and letting one’s imagination run wild. This effect can either be left on or used as needed.

• Power Doubling on the inside so 9VDC is input, and KATANA uses a charge pump to nearly double operating voltage! (Caution – 9 Volt DC Maximum Input Voltage – DO NOT try to put 18 volts to the unit hoping that the doubler will make it 36VDC!)
