Vintage 12 Large-Diaphragm Cardioid Condenser Microphone

JZ Microphones Vintage 12

Bring some of history's most iconic sounds to your recordings with the Vintage 12 from JZ Microphones, a large diaphragm cardioid condenser microphone inspired by one of the best sounding mics of all time. Handcrafted with Class A discrete electronics, the V12 provides the same silky vintage sound with all the durability of modern components. The frequency response has a slight dip in the upper mid-range around 2 kHz, giving vocals a particularly smooth sound. There's a wide lift on the top end of the frequency spectrum, giving acoustic and brass instruments a particularly pleasing sheen. On the lower end of the spectrum, everything from 20 Hz to around 1 kHz is completely flat, providing a silky smooth and accurate low end to your recordings. The V12 excels at recording both extremely quiet and extremely loud sound sources, with a max SPL of 134 dB, a self-noise level of 6 dB-A. Treat your recordings with the care they deserve with the modern-vintage sound of the Vintage 12 from JZ Microphones.
