Heritage Audio Mix Buddy

The Mix Buddy from Heritage Audio is a powerhouse nine channel instrument mixer that gives you plenty of I/O, routing options, and headroom for any instrument set-up. Split into a few different configurations, the inputs can accommodate mono or stereo, guitar or line level, and even phantom powered microphones. The first four channels are Hi-Gain festooned with a set of Toshiba 2SK JFET 12dB gain buffers with slight coloration. Perfect for lower output sources, these channels gain a creamy saturation when pushed. The three Unity channels on the left are powered by Toshiba 2SK JFET unity gain buffers designed for high level outputs and don't add any coloration. The last channel is a balanced stereo line level input, perfect for grabbing the output of your interface. A dedicated Mic channel gives an ultra-low noise JFET mic channel with its own gain and level controls, along with the option to go into the Aux effects chain.

Speaking of the effects chain, each channel has its own Aux level control that will send the channel to the stereo effect loop. The effect loop can be stereo or mono and features an FX On button that will let you cut the effects at a moment's notice. Everything goes through a Main Output that features a built-in DI or a secondary output that is clean and transformerless. Robust enough to travel safely, yet compact enough to tuck away in your studio or in a gig bag, the Mix Buddy from Heritage Audio is as much instrument as it is utility.
