Peaking your VU meters with drum signals can have mixed results, but with VUperc from Gieskies, peaking your drum bus with a VU meter is always a good idea. This percussion module generates sound by triggering a VU meter to swing and hit a small resonant metal rod attached to a piezo microphone, clicking and snapping to create unique, organic percussion sounds. To avoid feedback in live situations, the output sound is gated from an envelope triggered by the two trigger inputs. In addition to these inputs, a manual control and CV input for output volume is available, adding dynamic shaping to your plucky, percussive gestures.
