Importantly, this is not a distortion pedal and is best used when plugged directly into a power amp or audio interface directly. Tap into the sludgey, loud, deep sounds of the Beta Lead with controls for the Drive and Gain independently, a slightly different approach than the original single control setup. A 3-band EQ gives you a large +/-15db sweep range for treble, mid, and bass that each affect the circuit drastically when pushed to either extreme. Switch between Bass and Lead for beefier or more aggressive sounds respectively; a Tight switch tames the bass frequencies for a brighter sound.
