The GFI Systems Orca Delay offers a suite of powerful time-based effects, maximizing utility, flexibility and an ease of use that belies its complexity. Everything from pristine digital delays to washed-out ambient echoes is possible with Orca's four delay algorithms, while the four dual-function encoders allow up to seven parameter adjustments per mode. These complex tone shaping controls can be mapped to the expression pedal input, which also doubles as a tap tempo input, and two preset slots are available to save your favorite settings. On top of this, the Orca offers TRS contacts at its inputs and output jacks, allowing any combination of mono or stereo operation. The Orca provides a sensibly laid-out, powerful user interface, along with plenty of sweet spots for dialing in characterful delays ranging from crystal clear to dark and distant.
