FolkTek Root

Root, a touch-activated signal router, continues the Folktek series of mini utility modules. Despite being small, this module is a powerful performance tool that can find a home in any patch. The idea behind Root is very simple—a single audio/CV input is routed through an attenuator into four touchpad-selectable outputs. Possible applications include sending audio to either four mono or a pair of stereo effects or routing any type of control voltage into four different parameters. All choices are made with a touch of a finger. On board attenuator is helpful when it is necessary to fade the signal out or just slightly tame its amplitude. The module is so handy, that one might want to get a couple of them.
