Focusrite’s Scarlett 18i20 is the second-generation iteration of their acclaimed audio interface. It features two front panel Focusrite microphone/instrument preamplifiers and a slew of rear panel connectivity options. All in all, the Scarlett 18i20 can achieve 18-in and 20-outs at the same time! Additional connectivity ports include six XLR inputs, eight ADAT input channels, and 2-channel S/PDIF I/O. If all that is not enough, Scarlett 18i20 also includes Focusrite’s proprietary iOS Control app, which gives users the ability to tweak mixes from an iPad or iPhone.
