While most fuzz circuits eschew mid control entirely with a dramatic scoop that leaves only low and high frequencies, Exploration #2 seeks beyond these boundaries with two flavorful variations of mid-focused energy. All of this mid-frequency magic happens in the three-position Form control, which is the only physical control on the pedal alongside the output Level knob and bypass footswitch. At the leftmost Form setting, you'll hear the classic mid-scooped fuzz circuit which has become a beacon of the stoner rock sound. Turn towards the middle position, and the pedal adds a mid boost before the clipping section, cleaning up the buzzing muddiness with a rich, riff-friendly sound.
