ESI Audiotechnik M4U eX

The M4U eX MIDI interface from ESI is an 8 port MIDI interface with extreme functionality in a small package. Each of the 8 ports can either act as MIDI IN or OUT ports, dynamically adapting based on the connection type. This means that you can plug a 5-pin DIN MIDI cable into any port of the interface and the port will change its behavior to either send or receive MIDI information based on what is connected—a welcome streamlining of one of the more tedious processes of MIDI interface setup.
