Elysia Alpha
The Elysia Alpha Mastering Compressor is a powerful dynamics processing unit boasting truly innovative functionality alongside pristine technology and superb sound quality. As its name alludes, the Alpha asserts a new standard for mastering operations and audio processing. With the Alpha, users can achieve M/S Processing, parallel compression, sidechain, audio filters, and much more. Each part of the Alpha’s signal processing utilizes single transistors operating continuously in class-A mode. Every single component was selected due to its tonal characteristics and are of the highest possible quality. In fact, the components are of such high quality that the sound characteristics remain clear and constant even when parameters are driven to extreme territories. This integrity remains no matter what genre of music the Alpha is used for. This enhanced functionality means that the Alpha’s potential in both recording and mastering scenarios extends far beyond what is available from other compressors.Â
The Alpha was specifically designed to subtly alter dynamics in order to create a custom sound stamp that gives tracks a characteristic loudness without damaging the stereo image. Even with complex material, the Alpha is more than capable of achieving exemplary tonal character and really pushing the mix while consistently maintaining signal integrity.
