Electronic Audio Experiments' Longsword is an op-amp-based drive pedal that has its own unique coloration and sound thanks to cascading gain stages and a three-band EQ. Dial in anything from clean boost to wailing distortion with ease using a combination of the Volume, Drive and Boost controls, along with the Diode switch. Choose between MOSFET-style clipping, no diodes, or Silicon diode clipping, each with their own dynamic reaction and compression. The three-band EQ features a bass and treble shelf filter with a selectable mid-range control. Use the Boost all the time or just punch it in when needed using the dedicated Boost footswitch, capable of adding up to 20dB of clean boost. More than your average op-amp dirt pedal, the Longsword from Electronic Audio Experiments is a unique drive pedal that needs to be heard.
