EarthQuaker Devices Hummingbird V3
The Hummingbird, from EarthQuaker Devices, is an all-analog sawtooth tremolo pedal inspired by the Repeat Percussion unit present in classic Valco and Vox amplifiers. Sonically, the pedal fulfills traditional duties as a shimmering tremolo straight out of the ‘50s, and ventures into more experimental territory by producing synthesized, delayed chop effects that slice an incoming signal into a barrage of short pings. Depressing the toggle switch allows for quick changes between modes, while the Rate and Depth controls can be used in tandem for varying flavors of amplitude modulation. In terms of amplitude modulation, things get really crazy after connecting an expression pedal to the corresponding input.
Hummingbird V3 Features

- With depth at zero, the pedal acts as a JFET clean boost.
