The EarthQuaker Devices Dispatch Master is a compact and powerful reverb pedal that gives everything similar a run for its money. The pedal offers a delay time of almost 2 seconds, affording virtually endless repeats and spacious reverb. The pedal’s delay signal accurately preserves the integrity of the processed audio signal, resulting in an expansive and robust signal where the repeats collapse into a dainty atmospheric swell. Dispatch Master’s reverb section is similar to that of EQD’s Ghost Echo, albeit with modernized depth and reduced artifacts. Additionally, the delay and reverb sections can be used independently or in tandem. Although the pedal’s delay and reverb line are digital, it boasts an all-analog direct signal path alongside true bypass switching.
