A-172 is a handy logic/utility module that selects the maximum and minimum voltages of signals present at its four analog inputs and emits them through its corresponding outputs: maximum and minimum. It is ideal for use with random voltages, LFOs, envelopes, and other modulation/control sources. Another potential use is as an audio signal processor—whether it's a single VCO or multiple sound sources, the A-172 is more than capable of getting the job done.
