Doepfer's A-160-5V is the black-panel edition of their classic Voltage Controllable Clock Multiplier/Ratcheting controller, a module that provides intense rhythmic capabilities from simple multiplication to momentary glitch generation. This module can operate as a basic clock multiplier with three multiplier sets of eight multiplier values. Currently active multiplier value can be selected either via the built-in manual control or an external control voltage, making it simple to create complex rhythms and stutters based on an underlying clock rate.
