Doepfer's A-140-3 Micro ADSR is a compact, 4hp envelope module that offers considerable note shaping and modulation potential in a small footprint. Essentially half of an A-140-2, the A-140-3 provides manual control over each stage of its ADSR envelope. Below these manual controls, you get Gate and Retrigger inputs for firing off the envelope, as well as two outputs, the first of which sends out the envelope, while the second can be configured either as another copy of the envelope or an inverted version using the internal jumper. A CV input is also onboard for adjusting the time length of stages, with additional internal jumpers for defining which parameters are controlled by the time input. An attenuverter control is provided in series with this CV input, enabling simple scaling of control signals for powerful patching potential.
