Doepfer A-130-8

The Doepfer A-130-8 is an eight-channel linear VCA—because let's face it, you can never have enough VCAs. Each channel features a CV input, signal input, and output. The bottom of the module contains three mixed outputs. These include channels 1–4, 5–8, and then a sum of all VCAs. The module is DC-coupled and can be used for audio or CV signals. Each VCA provides unity gain to the input signals, while the sum outputs have a lower amplification range to avoid distortion. A trim potentiometer on the back of the unit per CV input allows you to adjust the CV sensitivity. It is factory calibrated to respond to 0–5V but it can be adjusted to other ranges, such as 0–10V.
