The A-126-2exp expander module for the Doepfer A-126-2 Frequency Shifter provides eight additional points of interaction with their unique, bidirectional frequency shifting effect. As a complex analog circuit comprised of useful component parts, the utility of the A-126-2 is dramatically opened up by adding access to its internal functions.

In just 2hp, the expander adds outputs for each of two 90 degree phase-shifting Dome filters as well as outputs for both ring modulators in the A-126-2. The integrated envelope follower is also accessible for controlling parameters in your patches. Finally, the addition of independent up and down shifted outputs as well as an additional input allow you to use the A-126-2 in stereo operation.
